McDonald’s entrusted Smartfreeze with refrigeration walk-ins monitoring at some restaurants with the goal of check their performance and identify cold chain management possible improvements. The pilot project has provided much interesting results highlighting how much a more careful management of walk-ins is crucial for energy efficiency, through a simple and effective traceability system.
